How to port a open source 802.11 router and associated applications onto 6700k board?

I am planning to port an open source 802.11 router application on a board that has 6700k. My development platform is a Linux PC running Ubuntu 18.x. Where can I find the Intel 6700k tool-chain to cross compile the C-source to run on the board? if I compile and run on an x86 machine with native GNU, will it run on a 6700K as well without any cross compile?

I know that part very well. Question is where do I get the toolchain for 6700k to compile?
