Port mt7621 to openwrt for linux 4.14.131

want to port my MT7621 vendor supplied board with linux kernel version 4.14.131 to openwrt please may I know how to build squashfs.bin image file which has uboot linux kernle image rootfilesystem and other things in it please
have the sources for linux kernel 4.14.131

Ask the vendor, pretty sure MT7621 wasn't supported by Linux back in 4.14.

Thanks Frolic, thanks a lot for reply,
is there a way to get "sysupgrade.bin" image as now we have uboot and kernel, as of now only building till kernel is happening in openwrt way, how to see to that it is taken ahead for the building of filesystem also... and image as said earlier?? now openwrt is in 23.5.05 can I port the things from given uboot and kernel to this new one if yes how's the way to go about it??

What device you are talking about? ubus call system board

sorry I couldn't get you I have a board a target with MT7621 ramips rt2880 one to this I want to ..port openwrt now can write uboot and kernel only 2 of them ...want to also build filesystem for it going ahead ..

The device is not yet running OpenWrt

Ask seller for BSP.

You usually don't need to upgrade U-Boot.

Then you need to add your device to Openwrt 1st.

Do you have a device tree source for your board?

Hi no its not but kernel is built that way you know ...

hi about device tree source we have something like this arch/mips/boot/dts/Makefile in our code

Now you have the source?
Next ask your vendor for instructions.

unless you publish "our code", no one but you (and the vendor) knows.
