Port forwarding not working on wifi bridge with relayd

I have a netgear router running tomato with port forwards setup that have been working fine for years but now looking to replace my tenda wifi bridge with an openwrt one. I have configured openwrt and can access the devices connected via ethernet via my lan no problem but my external port forwards no longer work, as soon as i put the tenda back they work again so assuming a config issue with my openwrt setup i.e a firewall rule.
