Port forward working from wan but not from local lan

Hey folks,

I am a bit lost.

I have multiple network zones, one of which is "lan" for my clients and "services" for my servers.

I configured a port forward from wan zone to my Webserver in the services zone (ports 80 and 443) and have a public domain pointing to my wan IP.

That works fine from outside my network.

But when I try to access my domain from lan it does not work. However, accessing the private ip of my webserver does work from lan.

I am missing something. Hope you can lead me.to the right direction.

PS: I would like to keep the source ip, so I want my webserver to know if access is coming from public wan or from my internal lan.

Go to the rule(s) Advanced Settings tab and use the Reflection zones drop-down menu to select all the internal zones from which you want to access the service.

You could also rebind the domain name to the web server's internal IP address.

Defining the reflection zones did the trick!
