I didn’t get a config then but I did have it set to channel 100 80MHz
Can you explain what we're supposed to see in Post No. 1 then?
Lastly, I suggest testing 20 MHz first, since you have an issue selecting a good 80 MHz channel.
The DFS error I am having with every channel
Or did I just not wait long enough for the radar scan
So now, I understand you're having an issue on every channel. Thank you for finally explaining your DFS issue.
How did this 20 MHz test work?
Wouldn't know, scans can take a few minutes in some nations, I'm not sure about the UK. How long did you wait before changing channels, making posts, etc. (i.e. I can't guess how long you waited)?
Honestly, we haven't yet seen proof you've actually configured a correct channel/bandwidth combination.
Now, let me speculate - I surmise this endeavor is about some repeater/relayd bandwidth matter. Even though folks have given you sound information in other threads, I'm guessing this is another attempt to have us circuitously work on it anyway. I hope that's not the case.
I wanna provide a reference and ask you a serious question before we take more time:
- Maybe you weren't aware - but DFS has to protect for 21 miles
- You admitted planes constantly fly over you - meaning 0 miles
Can you clearly explain why you think DFS channels would work for you, and how?
I thought that was clear
I will do that now
some are 1 minute, some are 5 minutes and some are 10 minutes here
I will send you prrof of channel 100 80MHz now
I will do 20Mhz actually to see if it works
config wifi-device 'radio2'
option type 'mac80211'
option path 'platform/1f400000.fpi/1e101000.usb/usb1/1-1/1-1:1.0'
option channel '100'
option band '5g'
option htmode 'VHT20'
option cell_density '0'
option country 'GB'
Nope - and just to be clear, probably the adapter.
That's we can save more posts. Save the live of a few bytes.
Is it working?
I guess you don't respect other's time?
Sorry for replying while your replying

No worries - just wish you'd respond to the part about DFS not working for you on the adapter instead of pasting the same log sections.
Guess nothing appears 60s later?
it worked in version 19

so its not working
I have been told before
yes, thats why tp-link no longer answer me
but surly the RE450 should have radar detection
to be honest after yesterday, thats broadcast incorrectly
channel 120 80MHz on the RE450
but how can I get my target speed on anything by not using DFS, there are to many nearby devices
everyone uses 80Mhz, even though I know there maximum speed is 80Mbps, because only a few houses have fibre, most are ADSL copper
I try to
also just changed the RE450 to 36 for now and it was on 40MHz for some reason
Does DFS work on the internal device?
I won't get into the law - but lets try the internal device.
I'm not 100% sure of that.
If you wanna revert to 19 and try yourself, OK. You've been warned.
(I made a note the law changed, but we did advise you upgrade, not knowing you wanted to break the law. I mentioned this in another thread.)
If I shouldn't be using DFS though
channel 36 80MHz is fine for speed actually
RE450 STA side of plusnet hub
I don't understand your statement, since channel is selected by the AP and not the STA.
Glad you realized channel 36 was a good selection for 80 MHz.
I made an edit
the RE450 is set to channel 36 80MHz which is the STA side of the Plusnet hub
The AP is set to channel 48 80MHz with mobile data speeds
Yes I understood it the first time. Again, STAs don't pick channels.
If I understand the RE450 is the STA, its channel config should be auto
.
Wow. SMH.
Are you just ignoring us or do you have another theory?
to be honest lets try auto, never used it for years
You lost me again.
Again, STAs don't pick channels.

auto
.
I guess you do have another theory. Please explain it to us.
Are you saying you've also been expecting the bandwidth setting to have a certain output?
