I use this as my main VDSL router and it crashed. I could not access it at all via the LAN though wireless was OK. I power reset it. 5 days later it ceashed again. I have several of these routers so changed it for another also at 24.10.2. Today this different router crashed. I can’t believe that 2 different routers have the same fault as up until 24.10.2 they have been faultless. 24.10.0 ran for many months without issues. Has anybody else had similar issues ? If the replacement crashes again I will roll back to 24.10.0.
Did you change the power supply too?
Yesterday I changed the PSU though didn't think that it was faulty or low volts. Router booted up fine and was in use at several times yesterday however at about 10pm it failed again. I did not bother to reset it and had a closer look this morning.
Using a netbook I could connect normally to the wireless and could access luci and the WWW however when I tried a direct connection to the LAN ports it would not connect.
I managed to save the system and kernel logs and then power rebooted to get it working again. I have now rolled the firmware back to 24.10.1 The kernel log seems to show the failure and I will try to upload it.

After 7 days the LAN side stopped working again. From looking at the logs it is maybe a problem with the link on LAN4 so will try to swop it to another port. Have also rolled back to 24.10.0.
I have also set the link speed down on the connected PC to 100 MHZ full duplex from 1GB as the cable from the main router is very long. So far seems OK.
I also use windows 7 and could not initially access this forum today. Firefox is at the latest available version. It said Unfortunately, your browser is unsupported. Tried other browsers and all the same. Had to install Supermium to access. This worked without problem.
The router has been working solid for the last 7 days and I have reverted to 24.10.2. Seems like the fault was the cable length between router and pc.
