Ok I factory reset and set up my networks from scratch. All issues are fixed including the SSH issue without changing the key type. Thank you all for your help! Appreciate you

I was noting that the OP seemed to have a package missing needed for DNS resolution, but I think the point was missed. I think an edit of the DNS setting coulda helped.
It doesn't - it only saves configs, not post-flash packages. You can include it by making an image with custom packages at https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org
