Please consider ath10k (non-ct) drivers instead of ct

I've been running snapshot images for a while now on Netgear R7800, UniFi AP AC Lite and Archer C7 v4. In my environment I have stability issues with a Nest E thermostat and 2018/2019 MacBook Pro laptops with CT firmware. If I switch the firmware to mainline, the issues are gone. Throughput is also terrible with CT. The driver doesn't make a difference, CT or mainline they both work, it's all about the firmware.
I reported many of these issues long time ago and there are no fixes. Here are my latest perf numbers from yesterday, I do try CT once in a while hoping for magic fixes but so far they haven't appeared.

I started a thread too before I found this one. I struggle to understand the decision to default to CT when there are many threads with similar issues reported.

Let's talk ath10k CT firmware

Devices I use: Netgear R7800 (QCA9984) UniFi AP AC Lite, TP-Link Archer C7 v4 (QCA988X) I consistently notice stability issues and reduced performance with CT driver + firmware on all the devices above. For example, the real throughput as measured by an iperf3 TCP test on my R7800 is 3x worse than mainline (sometimes called "old"). The CT driver doesn't seem to make a difference, with or without it, the perf is the same. It's all about the firmware. I realize this may be specific to the env…
