Hello!
I have 2 printers connected to a usb hub, connected to my router. I successfully set them up and they work fine but not everytime.
So I have printer 0 and printer 1. When printer 0 is offline printer 1 gets the "WRONG" device name ie /dev/usb/lp0 on my pc it will than use the drivers of printer 0 to print on printer 1, that of course can't and doesn't work.
Hoping I have explained well my problem I am looking for a solution to assign a fixed device name to each of my printers based on theirs serial numbers, is it possible?
