I'm looking for a daily WAN bandwidth monitor where the data is persistent between reboots similar to what is available in DDWRT. I've installed nlbwmon, vnstat, and collectd.
nlbwmon is persistent, but doesn't seem to have daily breakdowns (although please correct me if I'm wrong, I just installed this and don't have much data yet).
vnstat is exactly what I'm looking for, but doesn't appear to be persistent.
collectd seems really powerful and give me ideas for lots of other things I can monitor, but it also doesn't appear to be persistent.
Can vnstat or collectd data be made persistent? Any other options that I haven't tried yet?
