# Packaging guidelines

I would like to assemble knowledge and best practice about packaging software in this topic. I'll start with some preliminary things I wrote a while back for which I didn't get around to bring them into a suitable shape.

Maybe we can also make this a Question & Answer sort of thing... lets see.
