What installer are you talking about here? Openwrt isn’t like Mac/win/large-distro-linux with an installer system. So I’m a bit confused about what you are using. Can you show us a screenshot or the text output?
I flashed OpenWRT to my router, and when I tried to navigate OpenWRT's menu to set it up there were no menus available, only the error that I posted above.
When I searched for that error message in forums, people both recommended to report it, and to 'build it yourself', which I don't really understand but could probably follow along if it's a recommended course of action.
Getting screenshots would mean re-flashing the router, which I could do if my explanation still isn't clear/comprehensive enough. Thanks!
I don't understand why it would require re-flashing the router? Can you explain?
I'm not trying to be difficult here, I just don't really understand what you are trying to do, how you're trying to do it, and what you're seeing as the results.
When I flashed OpenWRT to the router and navigated to 192.168.1.1, I saw OpenWRT's top page and the menu options across the top of the screen. When I tried to navigate the menu, for example to the network setup screen, I only got the error that I posted, and the screen never appeared.
I did a quick search and saw that others had experienced the same problem, and from what I saw I determined that it wasn't something I could fix quickly.
So I reflashed OEM firmware to the router so I can troubleshoot from my PC instead of my mobile--that's why I can't get a screenshot right away.
