Packaged kmod-ipt-nathelper-rtsp incompatible with installed kernel

Hi,

I just updated the firmware on my seeed router to the latest that seeed compiled, 22.03.3, https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=!AEcwsyZAovIBK-I&id=5219529519B9B6A1!112746&cid=5219529519B9B6A1
so that I could install the the nathelper-rtsp. But when I attempted to install the packaged version, I'm getting the error below the the kernel is out of date. It appears that the nathelper-rtsp wants a kernel from 22.03.6.

Is there a way on the command line to retrieve a compatible version of nathelper-rtsp using the opkg manager?

I had run an update and upgraded the installed packages. Perhaps that created an incompatibility?

You should probably talk to the seeed people to find out why they are using 22.03.3 when 22.03.6 is current (or better yet 23.05.2).

What is the output of the following:

ubus call system board

Jeff Geerling's video on the Seeed board has links to where he got the hacks and forums that work on the Seed board.

From Seeed's OpenWrt page it looks like they are using a fork that dates 2021.

:spiral_notepad:Sorry, they are using a 21.02 snapshot.

I ended up flashing the Seeed router with the latest production firmware 23.05.2 and was able to install the rtsp nathelper. This version is very barebones initially and not initially configured as nicely (such as with using OpenVPN) as the Seeed firmware, but I managed to navigate most of the configuration issues.

Thanks everyone for your replies!
