Owut: OpenWrt Upgrade Tool

Testers needed

If you see this before say evening Sunday Jan 26 your time:

@aparcar has been completely reworking the ASU internals to avoid the Unsupported version: 24.10.0-rc6 bug that has been plaguing us for the last several months (most of the recent RCs were missing at least a couple profiles, even though most worked).

It would be great if some of you could do some non-destructive testing, just to see if everything gets through the pipeline on different devices. What we're looking for is broad target/platform coverage, so if you see someone else has already tested your platform, don't bother.

So, I've tested on an x86 device quite thoroughly, but if you have other devices and are willing to do a 3-4 minute test, run these three commands and report back success or failure (and in the event of failure, anything that seems pertinent).

uci set attendedsysupgrade.server.url="https://sysupgrade.staging.openwrt.org"
owut download
uci revert attendedsysupgrade

Note that there is no uci commit, making it point to the staging server temporarily and the change will be reverted by that final command.

Report should include a cut'n'paste of the top chunk from owut's output, like this, so we know the target details:
