If I try with luci then it seems to be hung on downloading firmware.

Just wait another few days or do I have an issue here?

TY

Better check the thread here:
LuCI Attended Sysupgrade support thread - Community Builds, Projects & Packages - OpenWrt Forum

There seems to be an issue with the download of firmware, check there for a solution when posted.

I had that happen for a Netgear WNDR3700 v4 25.12.2 image. I found that the image did exist on the download server and I could downloaded to my desktop with wget and then flash it from luci on the “flash new firmware image” pulldown. In my case the failure msg did show the full https://… url with no guesswork needed.

Thanks. I’ll wait a bit then, fooled myself when the spare router updated okay since it was from a slightly newer version of 24 I did try after upgrading first to the latest 24.10.6 but that fails in the same way too.

I went and searched for the image, found it and did a manual install. Back up and working. I probably need to find my scripts from an old backup and restore those that are needed but I can plod through that. I’ll close this now.
