It seems that they are almost the same according to wikidevi, and I believe that the Netgear firmware download for both is identical. However, I could not get the openwrt firmware that boots on the RBR50 to boot on the RBR50v2. I have serial port hooked up to both, and can do some probing as needed.
Please advise to get the RBR50v2 working w/ openwrt....
