ive tried with a handful of packages while trying to install usb drivers onto my Cudy wr1300 v1.
i get the issue "▲ Require version = 5.10.146-1-c91e62db69d188afca1b6cc5c9e1b72d,
installed 5.10.146-1-beb5ad4549382c15e3d40fe062702e87"
any attempt to update or upgrade the firmware has failed and only this current version that i got from cudy support has managed to run on my router. How do i upgrade the kernel version to match or find a firmware thatll work.
and yes i did update opkg beforehand.
an example of the commands ive tried is:
opkg update && opkg install block-mount e2fsprogs kmod-fs-ext4 kmod-usb-storage kmod-usb2 kmod-usb3
what is your open wrt version? wjat is your kernel version?
kernel 5.10.146
software OpenWrt 22.03.2 r19803-9a599fee93 / LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-22.288.45147-96ec0cd
i havent built this version and i dont know how to, any other version i find for the router wont boot
snapshot too? dont boot?
tell me if you somehow manage to download it
i just get 404
https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/ramips/mt7621/openwrt-ramips-mt7621-cudy_wr1300-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
ill give it a try just for the sake of it, thank you!
nope, sorry. stuck powercycling again, seems that didnt work either.
can you post the dts of your device or paste a link were you got the firmware?
the firmware that are working
is it working or not?
wait a bit i do not have thi device. i was asking to post the link were you downloaded the working firmware, don't warry i found it that's your device dts.
if you can wait tomorrow i'll try to compile the firmware.

not sure what you are saying
i got the software directly from cudy support over email, i uploaded it here https://easyupload.io/pc5afz, can also email you the file if that works better. im in no rush for this to be done, id be really grateful if you did that for me
&spi0 {
status = "okay";
flash@0 {
compatible = "jedec,spi-nor";
reg = <0>;
spi-max-frequency = <80000000>;
m25p,fast-read;
mabie that's why does not boot, look the difference,the first is openwrt dts, the second is cudy.
flash@0 {
compatible = "jedec,spi-nor";
reg = <0>;
spi-max-frequency = <10000000>;
m25p,fast-read;
that might be why! what do i do with this information tho. it seems the file i updated has a checksum that needs to be correct for me to install it. If i were to install a modified version itd have to be a sysupgrade and not a firmware file.
you need a sysupgrade.bin
are you using that or not?
don't warry about the information, need that to compile the firmware.
the file i uploaded here https://easyupload.io/pc5afz was a firmware file. it has a checksum that lets me download it to the router. if i was to install anything but that it'd have to be sysupgrade.bin because i only upgrade
