Opkg update on 19.07 download error

this day I have this error

opkg update
similar to this:

Downloading http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07-SNAPSHOT/packages/mipsel_24kc/telephony/Packages.gz
*** Failed to download the package list from http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07-SNAPSHOT/packages/mipsel_24kc/telephony/Packages.gz

buildbots for 19.07 are not available yet, so there are no add-on packages for 19.07. Setup your own build environment or stay with 18.06 for now ...

Does it mean 19.07 is getting forked now from Master into its own (current) branch?

Yep, there's already a new 19.07 branch: https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/openwrt-19.07

Edit: same applies to LuCI & package repo

19.07 is good for WDS and channel auto

with old i have WDS ok but not in channel auto

for opkg that is not a big problem because i compile with my .config file

Channel auto doesn't automatically do anything. There is no reason to use that setting. Always explicitly set a channel which makes sense with respect to regulations and neighboring systems. Also always set your country.

my orange box -> Livebox 4 is in auto mode of origin complies with the French regulations

Openwrt is configured in french mode

ACS still doesn't do anything sensible on OpenWrt. All it does is selecting the first legal channel allowed by your wlan card, it doesn't check which channels are free, it doesn't react dynamically, it's not even supported by all wlan drivers in the first place. It has a very narrow use case, but effectively it boils down to "don't use it".
