Opkg segmentation fault

19 is not available for my device. 21 is available

No... you need to use a computer wired to your router. Each version upgrade will need to be done without keeping settings -- in the process, wifi will be disabled by default.

Yes it is...

It's my slow internet connection. Took a while to load up.

I will try tomorrow. It is too late to start this. Thank-you for your advice. I am off to sleep.

Hi,

I installed 22.03.0. Thank-you for all your help and patience.

I got messages likethese when going to the http gui and clicking on Network-> Interfaces

Network ifname configuration migration
The existing network configuration needs to be changed for LuCI to function properly.
Upon pressing "Continue", ifname options will get renamed and the network will be restarted to apply the updated configuration.

I now have some strange interfaces that are disabled:

Device, Description, Status
radio1 - MediaTek MT7610E 802.11bgnac, Device is not active*
disabled - SSID: OpenWrt | Mode: Master, Wireless is disabled

However, theses are active:
Device, Description, Status
radio0, Generic 802.11bgn, Channel:6 (2.437 GHz) | Bitrate: 24 Mbit/s, ??
-63 dBm, SSID: o541 | Mode: Master BSSID:** 00:0C:43:76:20:30 | Encryption: WPA2 PSK (CCMP), ??I think this is the 5Ghz NIC

SSL (with a self-signed certificate) is now the default for LuCI. Older versions used http.

WiFi is always disabled at first, for security.

I don't think that migration message occurs if you had upgraded without saving settings, as is required here. Go to system firmware and reset settings to default again to be sure(*). Or run firstboot on the CLI.

  • That will produce a new self-signed certificate which your browser will complain about. Accept the new certificate.

Got it. Thanks. Seems to look good now. Also I have found the 5Ghz radio
