Operating channel validation

Hi all,

Is there any downside to selecting Operating channel validation to "enabled (workaround mode)" would there still be compatibility issues with clients? I would guess that just doing "enabled" might prevent certain clients that incorrectly impremented it? Disabled sounds like unwanted due to the lower security?

I have a PS4 which refuses to connect when OCV is set to "Enabled". Workaround mode works fine.
