OpenWrt with GNS3?

Hello~

I'm researching for my cyber security senior final. I need to come up with a virtual network design (I cannot use Cisco) so I wanted to try using OpenWRT with GNS3. I would need to set up 3 routers and use VMs through VirtualBox to be able to communicate within the network. How would I go about using OpenWRT with GNS3?

Any advice or help is extremely appreciated.

Search "eve-ng openwrt" to get an idea how it's done. GNS3 is most likely similar in essential steps.

Thanks for the reply! I'll check it out. My today progress has been installing GNS3 and importing OpenWRT19.07.7-2 and have it running. I'm only familiar with Cisco up to CCNP level so I have a bit to learn with the differences between the two as this is my first time using OpenWRT.

That’s the link I use and it is now working well! I have to learn the commands with OpenWRT through documentation or a guide to get a better understand. If you have any advice, I’ll gladly listen. I’m a bit unfamiliar with the entire system as I’m used to Cisco like I said before.
