Like even a simple page (no database queries) takes time to show up. Have a look at this screenshot:
Is this another DDoS attack on wiki server?
Since we can't do aggressive geo blocking or walling behind login. I can only think of CAPTCHA/JS challenge or integrating Cloudflare bot management (or AWS WAF bot control). Anyways, hope someone comes up with a better solution.
