OpenWRT Updates - attended-sysupgrade strangeness

I recently flashed the firmware of my Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Lite to OpenWrt 24.10.5 and also installed the attended-sysupgrade plugin. The first upgrade with it went great. Today I checked for updates—and there are some.
However, attended-sysupgrade only gives me the option to upgrade to 25.12.0-rc4, which I don't want to do (yet) and don't trust. Furthermore, this version is not approved on the Support page.

Has something gone wrong, or why can't I see the 24.10.5 branch? After all, the packages should not be updated via LuCI (I am now asking which versions/release channels are displayed to me during updates).

If you mean packages, don't install them.

RCs are never listed in the wiki.

You can find those files at https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/.
Wiki is updated manually, and might not always link to the latest release.

You probably don't have "advanced mode" enabled on the Attended Sysupgrade "Configuration" tab. If that's disabled, then the search will only show newer versions and not the current version. If you turn it on, then, it should indeed be showing you two versions, the currently installed 24.10 and the latest 25.12 rc.

This is historical behavior from before I took over maintainership of the LuCI ASU package, and it seems confusing to me. I'll take a look at changing it to always show everything.
