If you installed a stable version (e.g. 23.05.3) then you're on kernel 5.15.150 and opkg install will get you a matching kmod-mtd-rw 5.15.150.
If you installed a recent snapshot version (from the last ~4 days) then you're on kernel 6.6.33 and opkg install will get you a matching kmod-mtd-rw 6.6.33.
If you installed an old snapshot version (which you apparently did), then you're on a kernel older than 6.6.33 (it could be 6.6.32 or 5.15.144) and you don't have matching kernel modules to install.
The easiest solution for (3) is to upgrade your firmware to the most recent snapshot; alternatively, you could just give up. But the worst "solution" would be to delete a perfectly good tutorial.
u don't need to install that package for install the uboot layer just do the tutorial said install the factory image first and write the ubootmod image
Recently bought a Xiaomi AX3000T, installed Openwrt as the instructions without to much problems and updated to the latest snapshot.
All OK ot so I thought, I was only getting 90Mb download speed as opposed to 450Mb on my old router.
I have tried different snapshots and builds with the same result. After a LOT of messing around I found that if I set up port 2 or 3 as WAN I got 450MB download.
It appears that Ports 1 and 4 are stuck at 100Mb and Ports 2 and 3 are working as they should at 1000Mb.
Is this a hardware issue or am I doing something stupid (Hopefully).
Any help appreciated.
Hi, I connected to the router using picocom and got the following message:

What I should do now? I tried to type something or send a sudo cat "help" > /dev/ttyUSB0 in another terminal (with pico still open) and got "Permission denied".
How can I send the original firmware to the router? Is it possible using UART or I need to connect directly to the firmware chip?
It is for sure not a software issue. Check the ports with a different ethernet cable. If still bad, check visually the pins inside the connector. If still everything looks good, then maybe you could open the box, and check the soldering on the connector.
I've got 3 RD03s running snapshot, and none has this issue.
Exactly the same output from the router. I think there's something missing and the bootloader is unable to complete the boot sequence. The reset button makes no difference probably because this is loaded after where the boot is stopping. Any suggestions? No LED, no ssh, it has no IP address, I setup static address on my laptop and searched subnets 192.168.31.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 with an IP Scanner for all network IPs and ports. Any ideas?
I don't get it, I followed the instructions to the letter and this happened.
