Hello, please if someone could help. I have installed the official openwrt version in model rd23 configured my pppoe and used it for some days the problem is that after turned off and on the router is with and orange blinking light and doesn't work. Please can you help me? Thanks

I have even tried version 24.05.4 and still the same everytime I restart it get stucked with blinking light,as it's turning on and off all the time, then I have to use miwifitool to get it back to stock. I used the script method to flash openwrt coming from version 1.49

Thank you very much :)) working nowww

See the v24.10.0-rc4 tag in the official OpenWrt repository: https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/tags/v24.10.0-rc4

  • Winbond W25N01KV -- already included into 24.10.0-rc4, PR.
  • Foresee F35SQA001G -- already included into 24.10.0-rc4, PR.
  • the PR for AN8855 support has NOT yet been approved nor merged. It has never been included even into the OpenWrt Snapshot (so not a part of 24.10.0-rc4 either).

This is very, very bad. Despite the fact that there are working custom builds and patches for them.

There are some bugs reported by several users for AN8855's Pull Request. You can find the details in the GitHub thread.

This is understandable.
But several enthusiastic users and several thousand users with different providers, operating conditions, and different network topologies will quickly find errors, point them out, and test fixes.
For this purpose, beta versions, release candidates, and then releases are released.

I could be wrong, but it will not be accepted in OpenWrt until it is added to the upstream Linux kernel:

This seems to be a general practice (I noticed this in the Foresee's PR thread):

My patch was upstreamed, so I will rework this PR soon.

I see.
There is still hope for ImmortalWrt..

Hi
anyone have the stock firmware 1.0.31 RD23 (AX3000T) Global version...
Thanks a lot
Julianocwb

The stock firmware version 1.0.31 for the RD23 was never leaked to the public.

Use the officially available stock firmware 1.0.49 which is simply a newer version of 1.0.31.

There are no links for it but my router came with it, I still have that full backup before installing OpenWrt but I don't know how to extract that file from it

I also made one based on rc4:

Is ubootmod usable yet or are the bootloader not working yet?

For the Winbond chip it should be usable in 24.10, since that branch was forked from main AFTER the Winbond patch was introduced.

The problem here is not so much in winbond as in the an8855 switch. In case of recovery, the LAN ports will not work (or will they already work)? Of course, there is a chance that if you flash the recovery partition ~ 10 MB, then this will not be needed, but still ...
This is theoretically ...
