Mine is not affected (by bricking after 6 reboots with OpenWrt), but I am reseting flag_try_sys1_failed
just in case. So far I have not experienced any undesirable side effect.
Will this be upstreamed to the official openwrt builds?
Well some of them are already pending PRs, so sooner or later depending on user feedback i guess.
Finally got the time to get mine setup. The issue was I was trying to do it over WiFi and not via the device connected to my current router (MT6000). Luckily was on 1.0.47 FW.
Went smoothly though when I followed the instructions at the top of this thead, the name of the files didn't match up with remittors builds. I also don't know what the changes are between the different versions in the google drive. I like the bundled packages that come with the build.
In the end, once I setup the WiFi password in the original factory Xiamoi FW, I was able to use the XMiR patches to get ssh and patch the 23.05.5 build from remittor.
I add language packs and have such errors, it seems to not affect anything, but still it shouldn't be like this?
Collected errors:
* pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency kmod-ipt-conntrack for firewall
* pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency kmod-ipt-nat for firewall
* pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency kmod-ip6tables for ip6tables-nft
* pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency kmod-ip6tables for ip6tables-zz-legacy
* pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for ip6tables found, but incompatible with the architectures configured
New build for AN8855 with fully working vlan 802.1q
I assume its because the kernel compiled by myself has a different signature, altho kmods should work if its the same kernel version i think, can you try to install the missing kmods listed with --force-depends
?
If it doesnt i should be able build all the kmods and upload to github aswell.
I also updated mine:
Maybe, but I don't add anything except the language pack, if kmods packages are somehow tied to language packs, then it's very strange.
It's just a translation of the Luci menu...
I got a new version never saw this:
Xiaomi AX3000T Mediatek Filogic 820
Are you bragging or complaining?
As far as I can tell I currently have no issues but is there any reason not to upgrade from 23.05.4 to .5?
Haha. No, I have read the docs that the latest should be .84 version, five hubs, and new chip. But my router is not like that. So I guess I can play openwrt. But not sure. Will wait to see.
It shouldn't, but it could be.
Different things.
What's the point?
Hi all!
First time posting even using Openwrt for ages...
I am stuck with a AX3000T windbond chip.
Flashed it wrongly, and I think i erased the Factory partition. Ive got different version of some backups posted here, and with one version i have the wifi working, the wan is up, but doesn get ip from dhcp and the lan switch doesnt work. Using other factory.bin, i have the wifi down with error -12 during the boot, but the wan get ip from dhcp and works. However the switch still doesnt work.
Could someone with a windbond version share the original Factory.bin of its backup?
If there is other way to recover, or some light to give it would be appreciate.
PD. Prior to start "playing", starting from stock firmware and flashing the latest official snapshot worked well and fast. Router from the box + 2 min Openwrt was working.
Thanks!
Some input would be welcome.
TFTP method or this:
original Stock Firmware URL can be found in Wiki
Thanks for the answer @alexq
That recovers all partitions or just the "ubi"?
Right now the bootloader, is as well changed (web recovery) so i cant enter with the buttons (reset and WPS)
You haven't provided enough details to suggest something. What was the original firmware on your router? What switch do you have (Airoha or MTK)? You also mentioned a changed bootloader - does this mean you installed a custom OpenWrt bootloader?
What do you mean by "wrongly"? What exactly did you flash?
I am quite newbie... Sorry.
Windbond nand. Mtk switch. Custom openwrt loader, the one that lets you upload a img with a website.
I flashed the openwrt stable version, that is still not compatible with windbond. After that... Pure mess
Recovered the bootloader with uart. Flashed partitions like FIT for the loader. FIT, BL2 UBI Factory with md write...
In one of my 7653 trials, i flashed the stock versión (probably just the ubi) and realized that the wifi works but the switch not.
I dont know if It exists... But if i can do something (like format c:) to achieve the box state should be good enough.
Thanks for your help!
