TP-Link EC230-G1: https://service-provider.tp-link.com/wifi-router/ec230-g1/
Specifications (Nearly identical to the already-supported Archer C6 V2)
- SoC: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9563
- Flash: Winbond 25Q128JVSQ (16MB)
- RAM: Zentel A3R1GE40JBF-8E (128 MB)
- Ethernet: 5x 10/100/1000 Mbps
- Switch: Qualcomm Atheros QCA8337N
- WiFi: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9563, Qualcomm Atheros QCA9886
- Buttons: Power, Reset, WPS
The stock firmware (v1) does not have any menu to upload firmware, and recovery mode (long pressing reset button whilst powering on, waiting for WPS light to flash) does not work like the C6 v2.
That would leave serial connection as the next best bet, I would guess.
For those who has this particular router, could you check the type of flash chip you have and does the web interface accept the C6 v2 firmware?
