can we use OpenWRT for NanoPi R3S in NanoPi R3S LTS ?
ethernet chip look similar.
Does not hurt to try.
I've flashed R3S sysupgrade to EMMC from FriendlyWrt on LTS version, everything seems to work.
After completing the flash it seems to be unable to reboot (web interface is down, but activity lights continue to blink even 10-15 minutes after; devices on LAN side still get FriendlyWrt default gateway IP of 192.168.2.1), but after power cycling it boots into OpenWrt normally.
look great, i will keep this topic open for device support further.

any advance on NanoPi R3S LTS openwrt support?
R3S images seem to work without problem on LTS, so there's nothing to support (I don't think anyone/OpenWrt is concerned with HDMI?).

Not sure, I have seen HDMI being used for networking/ethernet ?
