If you can't stop autoboot at this point i can only say that check conexion, ttl modem, and other parameters of the serial connection.
But think that serial conexion is only needed if you brick your device and currently it is very difficult to do it.

i need some help i cant ssh my g5 rouhet can someonegive me a walkthough please

can someone give me a walkthough on install openwrt on armor g5 ive copied the insturustion but it wont ssh

See posts 84 and 94 above. Maby yo have to run again:
uci set dropbear.setting.enable=1
uci commit dropbear

looks like i've bricked the device as the light is flashing red is it the only way to unbrick is via serial or can it be done via ethernet when you say hit any key do you mean on the router it self

Yep, sound like you bricked the device. Only way to go is open it and connect it to the serial port as explained here: https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/zyxel/nbg7815_armor_g5.

I mean typing any key on the keyboard while you have the program you use to monitor the output of the router's serial port in the foreground. I use "putty" for that function.

Is just a usb that plugs into pc with the 3 wires connected to inside the router what I mean if I got a USB cable and cut the connecter of and connect the wires on the roughter

Uart cable think I've got one

It doesn't matter I don't have the lead thanks for help

Disclaimer: I don't own this device and have no personal experience with it, so double-check everything before.

Its predecessor, the ipq8065 based nbg6817, had a very mature push-button tftp recovery implemented in its bootloader, and as ZyXEL seems to have standardized this over multiple other devices as well, it's worth trying if that procedure (with the OEM firmware renamed to ras.bin) works on the nbg7815 as well (keep wireshark running to see how it behaves, what IP addresses are expected and which file might be requested).

Hi! Im a newbie in OpenWRT and i need some your help to configure my ZyXEL NBG7815.

  1. First of all i can't find in LuCi "Switch" menu to bound WAN port like LAN in AP mode.
  2. How to correctly configure Wireless on NBG7815? In LuCi Wireless menu it is 3 different radio, in original firmware it is only 2 with easiest configuration. What are the best settings to assign to each of the presented interfaces?

WBR.

This router is based on DSA architecture so no switch menu on LUCI. But if you are looking for vlan config there are some good videos on youtube about it.

Use only de radios you need. I only use radio0 for 5ghz on channel 36 at 80Mhz and radio1 for 2.4ghz stuff. Don't use 160 Mhz for 5ghz radio because it not work well jet
Don´t use radio2 if you don´t need it, but it your choise.

It is not, it's using a very basic switchdev driver - which exposes the switch port to the system as individual -not switch aware- interfaces. This may look like DSA, but isn't that (at all).

Thanks for the clarification. i don't know it.
But, is there a difference when configuring openwrt between a real DSA device and another that uses this type of DSA simulation openwrt is doing on NBG7815?

Thank you.

Does radio1(2) support MU-MIMO (Up/Down Link) and OFDMA (Up/Down Link) like on stock firmware?

if you mean to 2,4 ghz radio is ax therefore I suppose so, but it depends on the capabilities that have been implemented for the ipq807x-ath11 platform in openwrt and my knowledge does not go that far.

The same for the others 2 5ghz radios.

The interesting thing is device named miireg - what the purpose and possible configuration are?

Any progress on adding the fan and led driver to the master repo? @itorK , @avalentin
