Those early Ones got a broken install, which is missing most of the package feeds in the conf file, and hence your inability to find packages which obviously exist.
Jump on over to Kmod-wireguard on OpenWRT One 24.10 rc2 - #2 by efahl and see if that post solves this, it should... (And then upgrade to 24.10.3, while you configuring things.
