OpenWrt on Smartcom Router SAM-4F1F-TT-W-A1

I have a router that already has busybox and an option to update SW. It has very limited functionalities, I have no idea why. I was wondering is there a OpenWrt version that is supported on a similar device or is there an option to add just packages that could work. ( Please excuse me I am a noob.)

This is what it reports on some commands:

uname –a
Linux kernel 2.6.36
BusyBox 1.12.1

cat /proc/cpuinfo

grep MemTotal /proc/meminfo
MemTotal: 60592 kB

cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.36 (gcc version 3.4.2)

cat /proc/partitions
major minor #blocks name

31 1 192 mtdblock1
31 2 64 mtdblock2

There is a configuration file, which can be downloaded and modified, and it is named: RT2880, in the file I see: Platform=MT7620

No Smartcom devices in the https://openwrt.org/toh/start :frowning:

Yes, the company doesn't work with end users, but it is B2B. So the device is sold by the ISP. It has only serial number: DEA22592 and MAC: 50:A9:DE:A2:25:94. No FCC id as well. I have contacted the manufacturing company - Smartcom for data sheets, but they refused, as no support is provided for end users.

This device looks similar

And which openWrt build/version would you suggest?
Any instructions on what to do, except try an OEM GUI SW install option?

Hi,

Did you ever manage to find a build suitable for the ZBT router?
