Hi, I installed Openwrt today on an old PC but it doesn't recognize its embedded network card BCM57780. I do have kmod-tg3 .
I appreciate any advice on what to do to get this card up and running.

I have kmod-tg3 drivers installed, during initialization this message appears"tg3 0000:05:00.0: Problem fetching invariants of chip, aborting". The PC is a HP T5740.

Yes, the other modules are installed.
That's why I don't understand why BCM57780 doesn't work.
Not a linux expert here, but since my solved issue was quoted... I googled the error message, and found this tip. Worth trying?
