For who accesses the router via the lan domain, is it normal that it doesn't resolve to the lan interface ipv6 addresses? Be that link local, unique local or global unicast. For my case dig openwrt.lan aaaa
returns no AAAA records. However, I have enabled slaac and dhcpv6 and I can get AAAA records for my other dhcpv6 assigned devices that registered in /etc/config/dhcp
as hosts. Like dig device1.lan aaaa
returns its unique local and global unicast ipv6 addresses.
openwrt.lan
, the openwrt part is not registered in /etc/config/dhcp
but in /etc/config/system
. I don't know how does dnsmasq work under the hood for this very domain that resolves to just 192.168.1.1. Any way to be able to resolve to its v6 addresses?
By the way I'm not using the snapshot version of openwrt, I'm on 21.02.
