Hi, i have bought a Tp-Link Archer C7 V5 (EU).
i can flash and boot the original firmware(s) via tftp.
But cannot find any *.bin file which i can boot/flash...
Via webUi i have the massage "invalid files" or after i upload any *.bin to router nothing happens.
My question is if i download any *.bin file "openwrt-19.07.7-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v5-squashfs-factory.bin" for example. have i to chance/edit this image(s)? country codes etc?
i am going crazy with this router...
It should work to TFTP the "factory" file. The OpenWrt header in that file has multiple country codes.
i dont know how to...i read "rename the factory bin and flash" but nothing...
Just upload factory to OEM web UI upgrade.

EDIT: rename it under short name like upgrade.bin I think I had to years ago.
i tried it via webui upgrade but i does not work...the power and the port 1 led is on after flash...going crazy 
try older versions of factory. Maybe something is broken over time.
i tried 19.07.2; 19.07.7; 22.03.5; 23.0x.x etc...can not install/boot
Try oldest/newest OEM fw?
OEM fw? fw of Tp-Link you mean? there are 3 x
and all i have tried...Archer C7(EU)_V5_210519.zip Archer C7(EU)_V5_211022.zip Archer C7(EU)_V5.0_220715.zip
Reset to defaults in OEM ? Without wan connected? I do not recall any memorable feats installing OpenWRT on it

you ask me reset the hardware without lan? and you say that this router does not support openwrt?
Disconnect WAN , keep one lan connected, reset OEM config, then try to upload openwrt factory (smallest of all) renamed under short name.
i only one lan port 1 connected to flash...is it wrong? i flash and boot OEM now to reset the config...
Try to flash openwrt factory on never configured OEM fw.

i only get 2 leds; power and port 1 led when i flash openwrt*.bin
if it goes right then which leds i should see?
and the ip if goes right is 192.168.1.1?
Am i the only one who has bought this "s...." router....
same 2 leds, net leds blinking on activity, not steady like cable connected.
You have to get back from .66 to dhcp to connect now
after flashing the power led and lan port 1 led are on

Do you acquire ip in 192.168.1.x range using dhcp?
That is what should happen. OpenWrt defaults to wifi off. The wifi leds will not be on and no wifi is transmitted until you configure it.
During OpenWrt boot sequence the power LED should blink fast for 2 seconds, then blink slower then stay on.
Imo client is left with stuk tftp server addres
