OpenWrt Installation on Alfa R36

Hi,

While I am still new to this stuff, I wanted to install OpenWrt 18.06.1 (openwrt-18.06.1-ramips-rt305x-w502u-squashfs-sysupgrade) on the Alfa R36.
I tried to do it via stock firmware upgrade option, but i get this error.
Izrezak
and nothing happens.

Can someone point me directly to what should i do to flash the firmware? I dug up some info on the internet and here as well, but I couldn't find step-by-step how to get the OpenWrt flashed on this device.
I have windows 10 on my laptop, and the USB to RS232 cable, which i would use to flash the firmware if i knew exactly how.

I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me, because I would not like to brick the device...
Thank you

According to a search at the Table of Hardware, it appears that it's the same as this device:

Did you see the thread here:

I read through the whole thread (TWICE). Although there were some things i did not understand, what i do clearly understand is that I do not have the hardware to safely connect to the board serial pins.

It should get shipped in a month... Ill be back then
