OpenWrt in Lucy br-lan interface deleted by accident

The last line in screenshot nr. 6, containing 'urngd:' shows up about a minute later than the previous.

Entering 'firstboot' command, but no response:
Screenshot-7 firstboot-command

I can get two connections to the device, one with a network cable and one with serial; but I can't do anything with it.

Question: in the browser I get landed on 'http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/luci/' with "Cannot connect to server on 192.168.1.1"
Would there be a script in /luci or in /cgi-bin I could run from there to log in?

I guess the developer(s) who created the firmware for the BS-U35WF would have experienced bricking and unbricking that device.
It would be very helpful if they could share specific information on how to get control to the device.

In failsafe mode there is no LuCi, but you should be able to SSH into the router, the router is at 192.168.1.1 and you have to set your PC to a static IP address e.g. `192.168.1.10 /24 with gateway 192.168.1.1

Connect your PC to the Lan1 port

@egc,
thank you for your reply.

Yes I know that and already tried. But I cannot SSH to the device, I get: "unknown port 'Lan1'", and also cannot use port 22. I don't know the name of the port to use.

Can you show us what you're typing?

Did you happen to see this line?

Or the line that said "Please press Enter to activate this console."?

Have you tried?

@lleachii,

Can you show us what you're typing?

ssh root@192.168.1.1 --> port 22: No route to host
ssh root@192.168.1.1 -p LAN1 --> Bad port LAN1

ping 192.168.1.1 --> Destination Host unreachable

Did you happen to see this line?
Or the line that said "Please press Enter to activate this console."?

Of course, I tried those multiple times but no response at all - the booting just goes on.

The argument -p LAN1 is invalid.

BTW - where are you typing these commands?

You physically plugged your PC into LAN1, correct?

Lastly, is there a reason you're not copy/pasting the output, as opposed to giving pseudo descriptions of the results?

(If you actually showed what you were typing, some of the other inquires would likely be answered, e.g., where you're typing, did you connected to the Etherent port, etc.)

I typing it in the terminal on my Linux Mint PC.

Maybe you think my device is a regular router, it is not. It is a network HDD with a build in Wifi router; it has one network port, but I don't know its name or port number.
My Laptop is connected to my device (Kimax BS-U35WF) via a network cable and shows me LAN connected.

While my Laptop is connected to my Kimax (for the testing), I am typing this on another PC.

Update.
I just looked at the Wifi board of my Kimax device and I saw that the GND wire I soldered to the board had come loose.
When I checked closer, I saw that a red wire - for the RX - also had come loose.

To explain:
according to this post: Blueendless Kimax BS-U35-WF - #17 by marcopolo
I soldered 3 wires to the Wifi board to be able to make a serial connection.

The 2 'soldering' points on that board (for RX and TX) are minuscule and it is difficult to get wires soldered to them.
Anyhow, I succeeded to resolder the 2 wires to the board.

Then I connected my UART device again to my laptop and this time in Minicom I got response from my Kimax and became in the Failsafe mode.
After using 'firstboot' and 'reboot' I can login to my Kimax again.

I'm glad it worked out.
Thanks to all contributors for the help.
