Openwrt default branch change

Hello,

Am I seeing this correct? I just saw that there is a new branch called main and now it's the default branch of OpenWRT.

First question, is main the now default branch to be used?

Second question, what will happen to master branch?

Since I still didn't read the correct answer... They have the same exact commit. Main is the new default branch, master is there to handle breakage in downstream project and permit an easy migration. Master is scheduled to be dropped after a transition period still to be defined.

FYI, the rest of the thread goes off topic for a personal reason (i.e. the deleted account) some posters, including myself, weren't aware of, feel free to disregard, or study.
