OpenWRT Build for ODI DFP-34X-2C2 Device

Hello to all forum members!

I am interested in the possibility of using OpenWRT firmware on the ODI DFP-34X-2C2 device and would like to know if anyone has built OpenWRT for this device using open-source drivers.

Questions:

  1. Has anyone built OpenWRT for the ODI DFP-34X-2C2 device using open-source drivers?
  2. If yes, could you please share your experience and tell about any difficulties or peculiarities encountered when using open-source drivers on this device?

I would be grateful for any information or recommendations on this matter.

Thank you!

This appears to be an SFP GPON device, is that correct?
IIRC, there is only one GPON device currently supported, and it is a box form factor, not an SFP module.

This would likely require a lot of work to get running, but if you're so inclined, you can start the process to see if it is possible:

Many useful information is posted here: Hack-GPON and here RTL960x.

Someone else posted this RTL960x OpenWRT

I guess the judgement form @Borromini is still true.
