OpenWrt 24.10 stable version ASUS RT-AX53U

Hi, now with the new version :star_struck:, I would like to install openwrt on the router as described in the title. Does anyone know if the installation should still follow the instructions below? https://openwrt.org/toh/asus/rt-ax53u#steps >= 22.03.6 or >= 23.05.2
ASUS RT-AX53U / RT-AX1800U

You upgrade OpenWRT using sysupgrade, one version at a time. Save config backup before starting.

22.03->23.05 upgrade will remove WAN port from DSA switch and connect directly as second SoC port. So verify if wan is ok after.
->24.10 (based on my AX54) nothing to consider at all, you can even upgrade using auc command.

I upgraded to 24.10 a couple of days ago. At first there were no issues, but now I have WIFI disconnect issues. System log is flooded with this errors:

daemon.info hostapd: phy0-ap1: STA 7c:f6:66:29:34:51 IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to local deauth request

Bring your tuya device closer to access point...

Hmmm, so it’s one device misbehaving  I will check.

It is often a problem, not specific to ax53

True, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Blocked the mac address in my wifi. Probably not my own device.

Thank you for your reply!
Next week I might be able to get to that installation job.
There's a bit of a threshold here to go ahead with the install, because I broke my tp-link router a few weeks ago when during an upgrade I accidentally kicked the power cord off the router, which resulted in an interruption and the tp-link being completely lifeless :frowning:
On the other hand, this does not relate to the current installation :innocent:

Thats bad losing spare router. Try to unbrick that one first.

Sorry, I didn't understand this: "Try to unbrick that one first." What do you mean by that?

You said you broke tplink, try to unbreak that, might come handy if dog bites asus cables.

I got the same problem

You can restore OEM firmware with https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1000814/ asus recovery tool.

Highly tecommended to open a new thread to brainstorm tuya prolems.
