Hi,
If some user needs to configure an Netgear SXK versions with Openwrt. I did that steps to configure and the infrastructure works correctly. I connect SXK30 and Openwrt trough 802.1 Q trunk configuration. I used follow steps:
- Activate VLAN on Interfaces → Devices –> Br-lan
- Advanced device options → “Enable STP” for no data collision.
- Configure Bridge VLAN –> Default VLAN 1 needs to be U. Netgear SXK30 not accept as T (Tagged) in default VLAN 1. The VLANS ID need to be exact the same in the both devices OPenwrt and SXK netgear.
- Configure Interfaces:

Add interfaces for every device created.

Create as Static address, active DHCP server.

Add in Firewall rules every VLAN interface.
- Check in firewall input is accepted.
After that configuration you will had a Openwrt router with SXK30 Access Point configuration.
