OpenWRT 24.10.0 breaks OpenMesh OM2P-HS v2 - serial recovery required

Hi updating OpenMesh OM2P-HS v2 from previous versions to 24.10.0 breaks, or rather locks the device - so for now don't do it :wink: For those unlucky (like me) that did, you need to connect to the serial lineā€¦ From (from Ī”/rj45 and power socketsā€¦):

  1. ?(maybe VCC)
  2. GND
  3. TX
  4. RX

115200N1 ttl, 3.3V

After the update the device has no network (no network /etc/config) and no overlay
do firstboot and you should get a semi working system with temporary overlay (jffs2 overlay doesn't work which results in temporary overlay)ā€¦ You can downgrade to 23.05.5 to get a fully working systemā€¦
