OpenWrt 23.05.0-rc3 - Third Release Candidate

Hello!

Ok. Will do it.

That's what I intended, but because there are "rc4-posts" in this thread which no one complained about I decided to post it here.

Sorry for the misleading post.
The statement should not be a complaint but rather information.
(The same way as many people posting here: i installed it and all is OK!)
So if more people has the same problem we could digging deeper and if not, it's not the problem of the release.
(PS: esp8266 is 2.4GHz)

I know but it's a different behavior as in rc3.

rc4 is not announced yet.

I'd stay away then, until it's officially announced you risk running something that is not ready.

I'd like to bring attention to the: Broken 802.11r Fast Transition / Roaming and 5Ghz issues probably caused by DSA implementation

true,
however it already is available in the FW selector, normally this only happends after the anouncement. I think people are now tempted to install something they shouldn't yet.

Tp-link CPE210 not working RSSI leds

It always shows up there first since it's scripted to look for builds. Yes many of us are already running rc4 but don't discuss it until it's announced.

Why do we have to go through this every single rc release? Wait. for. announcement.

I've closed https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/13086 as the problem seems to be fixed so far in rc3.
