Bad cable or dirt in the port, so it's only using one pair on the 206? Seems like it would fall back to half duplex, if that were the case, but what do I know?
Ironically I saw this same issue recently and it was a bad Cat-5e run from chinese no-name cable. Cable got re-ran and it detected 1000.
We stripped it back and one of the pairs was loosely twisted.
Yeah, I've tossed out all the no-name patch cables in my lab, replaced them with Monoprice SlimRun Cat-6A. They are apparently quite high quality, I've never had any hint of cable issues. But to be honest, I did it mostly for aesthetics: the room might be a total mess, but at least the cables look cool. ![]()
It is the holiday season and a lot of work is done voluntary.
Let's just be patience and give it some time.
I'm using a WAX206 on a 1000/115 FTTP connection, this issue is not caused by rc2 as mine is comfortably achieving 1000
Do you have any devices that are limited to fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) connected to a different port on your WAX206? If you do, does unplugging the 100 Mbps fast Ethernet device restore 1000 Mbps on the other port?
never thought OpenWrt developers are chinese people, because only china now have a holiday's seasons, or i missed some US/EU holidays?
In Europe July/August is the time for vacation.
(OT: for Americans: this is how it roughly works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnqNjf5UM6Y)
OpenWrt 23.05.0-rc2 + updates: Associated Stations list (wireless clients) is permanently empty.
Which updates? To date there are none, only 23.05-snapshot releases. In my snapshot the associated stations list works.
These updates:
Have you tried to install all luci updates?
Plus there is no Channels in WiFi settings in Luci... ![]()
Of course not. Donβt upgrade packages, use sysupgrade to update your OpenWrt device instead: https://openwrt.org/meta/infobox/upgrade_packages_warning
so why create updates at the first place?
I would imagine if one has an issue, it should be valid to install an update
Check the package change logs to know, why. There is no general answer that explains all updates.
When we will get a update maybe a stable release or else new rc 3 maybe.
There is no schedule with fixed dates.
example only date release (Openwrt is similar, but only router and similar):

have new Openwrt version 23.05
every day would be beautiful.
my infinite thanks to all the developers ![]()
clear,
I have a suggestion,
it might be helpfull to put a link to the changelog or changlist.
for some packages in the past I searched but couldn't find it,
edit:if not in openwrt itself, it can be done as a link in de packageinfo
https://openwrt.org/packages/pkgdata/ath10k-firmware-qca9888
Knock yourself out.
https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=summary
Links for all versions.
Interesting suggestion. Could you implement this? From what I see there is no shortage on ideas or requests, but limited time from developers. ![]()
