Hi all, just an update, I've tried running Snort3 on the new build, using the instructions on Openwrt Snort 3 config but failed to get it running in IDS. When I get to the point of entering /etc/init.d/snort start my network drops and I can only get back onto the Mochabin by connecting via terminal and stopping that service. I made the mistake initially of using the stable release instructions, which also resulted in me getting a load of daemon.warn dnsmasq[1]: possible DNS-rebind attack detected: dns.msftncsi.com errors, but when I then followed the instructions for the development branch it still kicked me out when starting the service, but this time without those errors.
Anyone else found the same issues? It's possible I've just made an error in following the instructions, but asking just in case anyone else faced this problem and able to point me in the right direction?
