Running well on an AVM FRITZ!Box 7520 "1&1 HomeServer", serial number L...
, as VDSL-with-Vectoring Annex B router, 100 MBit/s downstream, 40 MBit/s upstream, on an 1&1 IPv6 and IPv4 dual-stack connection.
Wireless access point functionality not tested.
Using the default/regular pre-built image, openwrt-23.05.0-ipq40xx-generic-avm_fritzbox-7530-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
.
Upgraded from 23.05.0-rc2
which also ran without problems, as did 23.05.0-rc3
on another such device.
Stable VDSL sync with full speed. VDSL modem firmware in use: xcpe_8.D.1.C.1.7_8.D.0.E.1.2.bin
, SHA1 checksum 8519c3a11ffb843b36ea5f485d886db1a47c582a

Belkin RT3200 running 22.03.5, performed auc -y -b 23.05 -B 23.05.0
After reboot there were no radios, as expected, so followed @golialive's instructions here Belkin RT3200/Linksys E8450 WiFi AX discussion - #3805 by golialive and all is well.
tl;dr for fix, which must be done from a wired connection:
$ opkg update
$ opkg install kmod-mt7915-firmware
$ vi /etc/config/wireless
replace wifi-device radio0's 'option path ...' with
option phy 'wl0'
replace wifi-device radio1's 'option path ...' with
option phy 'wl1'
$ reboot
After reboot, 2g comes up right away, but DFS takes 2-3 minutes to do its scan (nothing new here, just a reminder), then the 5g radio comes up.
Lots of room on this device, adblock installed with about 68k entries:

Will this functionality eventually make it into LuCi attended sysupgrade? Shouldn't the auc behaviour and attended sysupgrade behaviour match in this respect?
Yes, I suspect someone is working on it. All part of OpenWrt 23.05.0 - First stable release - #145 by efahl
Got it. The auc/attended sysupgrade functionality is super impressive all things considered. Looking forward to yet further improvement as time progresses.
Yeah, Paul's recent commit on the ASU server code hints that he's thinking about a general mechanism for all of this:
Final upgrade of the day! My PC Engines apu2e4 edge router running 22.03.5, with all sorts of packages and fancy config (sqm, DoT with stubby under dnsmasq, adblock with big lists, UPS monitor, many network tools et cetera). Ran my usual auc -y -b 23.05 -B 23.05.0
and it installed without a hitch.
Just as when I upgraded the Archer (notes about 5 posts above), auc
did the wolfssl -> mbedtls transition without prompting, and dropped the adblock -en translations.
Congratulations to the OpenWRT team!
I've run into a small issue on my simple setup on a few Nanopi r2s which are setup as wireguard roadwarrior routers.
Running auc -y -b 23.05 -B 23.05.0
prompted some errors:
Error: Impossible package selection: luci-app-wireguard not in manifest
Bad message (74)
After removing that package, it was possible to upgrade via auc
without any issues:
root@rtr_ext3:~# auc -y -b 23.05 -B 23.05.0

Thank you for this release, OpenWrt team! Updated my Netgear WNDR3700 v4 and everything is great!
Any support for TP Link Archer C20 v4 AC750
I had to reset the router to default and manually reconfigure the router on my Archer C6 v3.2
and that was an upgrade from 23.05. rc3 to 23.05.0.
Internet from wired lan just would not work, although all the settings appeared to be configured correctly.
As I said in an earlier post, it was too much hassle to troubleshoot and after about 30 minutes I just reset the router and reconfigured it manually and it's been working perfectly for a few days now
It just complains about "SQUASHFS Error: Unable to read xx file at xx address"
I'm trying to build a custom Linksys MR8300 23.05 image with the Firmware Selector and I now get these errors:

I used another browser and I've been able to build my image: looks like a browser cache problem...
I did the same yesterday. Reset my conf in order to have ipv6 enable by default
FWIW, safely upgraded my Archer C7 v2 from 22.03.5 to 23.05.0 - no irregularities with the upgrade process.
Looking forward to 6.x kernel series with DSA
Not 6.x kernel. 5.15:
- Updated Linux kernel
- 5.15.134 for all targets
My point exactly.
