Hi all,
Is anyone else having WIFI problems after upgrading to OpenWrt 21.02 stable release in that the wifi simply does not work or never comes up after upgrading? Reverting to 19.07.8 restores everything and the router is absolutely fine

I had the same issue with the release candidate and assumed that it would be fixed in the stable release.

Can anyone help?

often between major version you may have to start from a factory default
it's possible that the WiFi has changed enough for the config not to work anymore
