Hi everyone,
According to Table of Hardware: https://openwrt.org/toh/start?dataflt[Model*~]=WR841N OpenWRT 18.06_ does support TP-Link TL-WR841N(D) v9 .
However, I remember about 4/32 warning: https://openwrt.org/supported_devices/432_warning
Question:
does anyone know/actually tried if OpenWRT 18.06 will work stable on TP-Link TL-WR841N(D) v9 which is 4/32MB?
I tried it on v8, v9, v11. And they work stable.

All 4/32 Tp-Link devices work well on 18.06 and trunk if you don't install too much software.
The basic config with LuCI fits with no problems.
The wan port on my TL-WR841ND v9(with 18.06.x) is unstable, sometimes I have to reboot several times until the port connects properly.
*Update
With the snapshot version for ath79, it works better.

Hi, I have tried to run 18.06.1 on my TP-Link TL-WR841N(D) v9 and unfortunately in my case it is unstable.
It wont keep configuration after reboot and also hang ups/reboots every once in a while.
Also - what surprised me - I tried to install latest available snapshot of 15.05.1 and it also does not work stable.
Only official release 15.05.1 works for me.

It's the same for me. 15.05.1 is stable and 18.06.1 keeps freezzing

This means you're out of space after flashing. There's not enough room for configs.
This seems normal for a 4/32 device nearing its end, have you tried a Snapshot release, without LuCI?
