OpenWrt 18.06.9 (tiny) for TL-WR940N V6 (EU)

Hey guys! I'm planning to move to OpenWrt from TP-Link stock firmware because of it's lacking in it's features and security. I looked for it and I found that 18.06.9 is the last version available. But, I need opinion on that should I use OpenWrt on such router rather than stock firmware?
Also, I want to update to OpenWrt because of its rich features like VPN (OpenVPN and WireGuard), Security, IPv6 etc. So, I'd be highly beneficial if someone tell me that will I get those features in OpenWrt or not.
And I'm not able to boot through Ethernet. So, I request to provide me OpenWrt for TP-Link TL-WR940N v6 (EU) tiny where after installing OpenWrt from stock firmware, WiFi will be enabled by default so that I can access and configure wirelessly without needing any kind of cable.

You can try dd-wrt where basic functions are provided on very small devices.
Old Openwrt has known issues, including over the air.

The bottom line is that 4/32 devices are unsupportable. Old versions like 18.06 have security issues and should never be used especially as a main router. There is not space in 4 MB flash to install Wireguard or OpenVPN. You need better hardware.

I agree with mk24, however if you really want to research a third party firmware have a look at DDWRT, it might even have WireGuard, but speed will be not more than a few Mb/s

actually I'm seeking for the best alternative firmware for my Router which includes VPN. So, I'd be highly helpful if somebody suggests me.

Easy - filogic > ipq > 7621

Just choose if you need usb, 2.5 10Gbe etc.

TL-WR940N v6 support has ended in 2020 with 18.06.9. But, most of people find many problems there including WiFi problem. And this model is widely used across the world though it's old.
Therefore, I request the developers for a update of this model's firmware with good compatibility with OpenVPN, WireGuard, and the other securities.

4MB flash is not sufficient to modern linux, you came 6 years too late. repeat posting will not get you better answer, you have choice of aged OEM firmware, museum-quality openwrt and feature-reduced still somewhat modern dd-wrt.
