OpenVPN only on selected LAN addresses?

Simply put, would like to use a VPN but have it only tunnel certain LAN addresses through it. All other addresses should use the regular internet connection. Is this possible? If so, how do I set it up?

Yes, you can use policy-based routing with OpenVPN. From: Use WireGuard interface for specific devices only You want your router to use 2 separate default routes…that’s easily done via policy-based routing on Linux systems.

Been trying that. Encountering a problem with Plex despite my best efforts. :-\

The WireGuard one looks like it requires knowing how to do it before reading instructions on how to do it.

Nobody suggested you use wireguard. Just make the policy routes.

I don't recall saying that someone told me to use WireGuard, only the instructions/post that refers to it.
