First enable MSS clamping on PP_FW firewall zone.
You cannot use a killswitch as you want traffic going out to both wan and vpn, luckily you did not implement a kill switch.
No it is not ok put lan back as network for your radio.
You need Policy Based Routing to route a specific source via the vpn.
As you want to have a specific radio via yhe vpn start by setting up a guest wifi.
Then see pbr how to implement pbr.
